Life can feel overwhelming, and if you're feeling stuck, stressed, or just not like yourself, you don’t have to figure it out alone. DaNysha Dickens, LCSWA, is here to help young adults, teens, and children in Raleigh (and virtually) navigate life’s ups and downs with support, understanding, and real strategies that make a difference.
With over five years of experience in social work, DaNysha has worked alongside individuals facing tough challenges—from mental health struggles to life transitions and everything in between. Growing up in Southeast Raleigh, she saw firsthand the strength of her community and the barriers that can make finding help feel difficult. That’s why she’s passionate about creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take control of your story.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), DaNysha helps clients who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by stress. Many of the young people she works with start therapy feeling lost or unsure of their next steps, but through a collaborative and compassionate approach, they begin to gain clarity, confidence, and a sense of direction.
She also knows that life is busy and in-person therapy isn't always an option. That’s why she offers virtual sessions, making it easier to get the support you need—whether you’re juggling school and work or just prefer the comfort of talking from home.
If you’re ready to take the next step, DaNysha invites you to fill out a new client form. From there, she’ll reach out to set up a consultation and help you start your journey toward feeling better and building the life you want.
