Airico Williams graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a bachelor’s degree in social work and a minor in Sociology. While at UNC Pembroke, Airico was a student athlete and played basketball all four years with a full ride scholarship. She furthered her education by obtaining her master’s degree in social work from North Carolina Central University. Airico is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and is pursuing her Social Work journey to becoming fully licensed. She enjoys working with athletes and adolescents. Airico has a passion to work with athletes in regard to anxiety and sports performance. In addition, she has experience working with children/adolescents who suffer from depression, trauma, anxiety, anger, and sexual/substance abuse. Airico focuses on a strengths-based perspective and solution focused theory to assist clients with improving the quality of their life. She is full of energy, and loves using her creative skills, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based interventions to keep clients fully engaged in sessions.
